Julia A. Farrugia ("Julie") is a Partner at Stoll, Nussbaum & Polakov. She joined the firm in March 2014.
Ms. Farrugia graduated early from Arizona State University with Magna Cum Laude honors and a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Political Science. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2012. While in law school, Ms. Farrugia was a member of the Honor Board, participated in Trial Practice, and clerked at a civil litigation firm. She passed the California Bar Exam in July 2012 and immediately entered the field of civil litigation.
Ms. Farrugia has always had a passion for helping others, and for most of her life volunteered with children and young adults with special needs. She now proudly represents plaintiffs in personal injury and wrongful death cases. She strives to be a successful advocate for each of her clients, vigorously representing their interests while communicating with them regularly. She has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation including case management, discovery, legal research and writing, mediation, and trial. Ms. Farrugia’s personal injury practice more specifically entails building and maintaining client relationships; counseling clients; defending and taking depositions; drafting all forms of briefs, memorandums, and motions; making frequent court appearances; presenting oral argument; negotiating settlements; researching case law and statutes; and working cases from initiation through verdicts at trial. She is licensed to practice law before all California State Courts as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of California. She has litigated cases in both State and Federal Courts.
In her free time, Ms. Farrugia enjoys running, reading, and traveling.
